Art-Fine Art Drawing Techniques- Super Realism

Level -Intermediate 

This course is suitable for people who really want to learn to draw amazingly life like objects, organic fruits, botanical flowers and leaves using pencil and coloured pencils as a continuation from the beginners course.

You will learn about :

Tools and materials

Subjects and set-up

Drawing techniques

Under drawing and painting

Blending and shadow techniques

Burnishing techniques

Lift-out techniques

Materials needed;

Coloured pencils, 2B-6B pencils, putty rubbers, good sharpener.

You will learn to appreciate the meditative experience of drawing and be amazed by how we all have our own unique understanding of our environment and how this shows so beautifully in the practice of drawing. All students learn from each other as well as from the tutor in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Course Project Content:

Draw a fruit set up and from a secondary source, i.e. a photograph 

Draw food from a secondary source, i.e. a photograph 

Botanical study of a rose

Botanical study of  a leaf

Draw a gold light bulb

Draw a metal object

Draw a plastic object

Draw wood and glass 

Draw folded fabrics
