Course Overview

The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skills and competence to develop and execute digital marketing strategies and activities, under supervision, using a range of e-tools within a range of digital marketing contexts.

During the programme the participants will get the opportunity to work on a live Digital Marketing campaign and become familiar with the various social media channels, web development and presence and where traditional and digital marketing techniques overlap and interact.

• Understanding the unique characteristics of the web as a marketing medium
• Differentiating Digital Marketing from traditional marketing practice
• Identify digital marketing strategies and their integration with traditional marketing
• Understand the stages of Digital Marketing campaigns
• Identify& Understand a widee-tools,advertising and their application to digital marketing campaigns
• Outline strengths and weaknesses of e-tools
• Plan a digital marketing campaign from inception to completion
• Choose appropriate e-tools to implement a digital marketing strategy
• Monitor digital marketing campaigns and use e-tools to include web analytics, social media monitoring and social bookmarking,to measure their effectiveness
• Understanding client management relationship (CRM)

This programme is suitable for people who want to understand Digital marketing and Social Media whether for commercial purposes or in the voluntary sector. No previous experience of the subject matter or technology is required.
